Alain Boublil

...is the author of
librettos and lyrics for: La Révolution Française (1973), Les Misérables (1980), Miss Saigon (1989), Martin Guerre (1996), all in collaboration with Claude-Michel
Schönberg. Two Tony awards for Best Score and Best Book, two Grammy
awards, two Victoire de la Musique Awards, Molière award (Les Misérables), Evening Standard Drama Award (Miss Saigon), Laurence Olivier Award (Martin Guerre). Author/librettist of Abbacadabra (1984), with songs
by Abba. Author of play, The Diary of Adam and Eve (based upon short stories by Mark Twain), and
prize-winning French novel, Les dessous de soi. Wrote with Michel Legrand the
stage adaptation of Jacques Demy’s film Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (2003). Alain and Claude-Michel's new musical The
Pirate Queen is thier fifth musical collaboration.
Claude-Michel Schönberg

Born in 1944 of Hungarian parents,
Claude-Michel Schönberg began his career as a singer, writer and producer of
popular songs. He wrote the musical score of La Révolution Française, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon and Martin
Guerre. He has also supervised
overseas productions of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon and
co-produced several international cast albums of his shows. In 2001 he
composed his first ballet score, Wuthering Heights, which was created by the Northern Ballet Theatre in
September 2002. Now The Pirate Queen is his sixth complete score. In 2003 Claude-Michel Schönberg married the
English ballerina Charlotte Talbot. He is the father of one son and two
daughters.

Ronan Smith
(Executive Producer, Development)
...has worked since 2001 on the development and production of a wide range of projects for Riverdream, and prior to that he worked from 1997 to 2001 on the world tours of Riverdance as Director of Operations, responsible for the logistics of moving the numerous companies around the globe. His background is in Irish theatre, starting as an actor, as Artistic Director of TEAM Theatre, as Executive Director of the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin and as Executive Producer for Groundwork.
Edgar Dobie
(Executive Producer)
North American Executive Producer of Riverdream. Broadway producing credits: Sunset Boulevard (Tony Award Best Musical), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Paul Simon’s The Capeman, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Managing Producer 1999 and 2000 Tony Awards. Mr. Dobie’s commercial theatre career began producing Toronto and touring productions of The Phantom of the Opera. For six years he was president of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Company. Mr. Dobie has also enjoyed a career in public theatre as Executive Director of Trinity Rep, Providence, Canadian Stage Company, Toronto, National Arts Centre, Ottawa and New Play Centre, Vancouver.
Moya Doherty

...is the producer of Riverdance, which premiered in Dublin in February 1995. Director of Tyrone Productions, Ireland’s leading independent television production company; Member of the board of the Dublin Theatre Festival; awarded the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award; Honorary Doctorates from the University of Ulster & from the National University of Ireland in recognition of her on going commitment to the world of the arts in Ireland.
John McColgan
(Producer & Artistic Director)
...is involved in Radio, Television and Theatre in Ireland. He is former Head of Entertainment at RTÉ Televisions (Ireland’s national broadcasting station). He directed the full stage show spectacular of Riverdance. He served on the board of the Abbey Theatre for five years. He directed the critically acclaimed production of the 19th century melodrama, The Shaughraun or the Abbey Theatre. John has received many awards including an Honorary Doctorate of Law from the National University of Ireland in recognition of his services to the arts and entertainment industry.
